Can't swype between messages

I think there is a new bug since 1.6.0.0

When I am in a message, open from unified folder, if I swype to the left or right it can't move to the next or previous message. Neither is correct the label on the top with the number of messages (it doesn't show anything).

It only happens when you open the message from unified folder. From a particular account folder it works ok. Label with number of message works correctly ('Message x from y')

In previous versions it works ok too

More information: I use unified folder with 'Only unread messages'. (I don't know tje exact text, I use the app in Spanish).

Hi,

I've noticed this too and mentioned it in my post in the Bug Reports forum. Perhaps you could add a comment there?

Do you have "Go to previous (or next) message" set for when you delete a message? Does that also not work in the unified / smart folder? (That was what I noticed first but I think they're connected).

Hmm....

Yes, there are some changes in 1.6.0, so not surprised about there being some new bugs.

Just tried it, can't reproduce, please help.

- Opened the Smart Folder with some unread messages

- Menu -> Unread first

- Opened one of the messages, was able to swipe (with messages getting marked read as I was swiping "out of" them)

Second scenario:

- App settings -> smart folder -> changed sort to "unread first"

- Opened the Smart Folder with some unread messages

- Opened one of the messages, was able to swipe

Can someone provide exact step by step instructions, for me to be able to reproduce?

Try:

1) Settings -> Smart Folder -> Smart Folder time period -> Only unread
2) Settings -> Smart Folder -> Default sort order -> By date/time                         
3) Back up out of the app
4) Open in smart folder (I use a widget set to open to Smart Folder)
5) Only unread messages should show
6) Open one of the messages, say #3 of 6 if you've got 6 unread
7) Swipe left or right; nothing happens (you don't even get the animation that happens when you can't swipe any further)
Menu -> Mark unread
9) Back up to Account list
10) Go to the inbox folder where your unread messages are
11) Select the same unread message as in #6 above
12) Swipe left or right is fine
13) Keep swiping until you reach the most recent unread message
14) Swipe again, animation shows an attempt to swipe (not shown in #7)

Yep, this "Smart Folder time period -> Only unread" is the issue.

Going to stare at the code and then at the wall, then back at the code, and back at the wall...

... until some idea about how to fix it floats into my head
