Send mailtext not shown in directory SENT (IMAP)

Hello there,

in my IMAP folders SENT the text of the sent email (reply) is not displayed. Only the original text of the sender.

In other mail apps the reply text will however be displayed.

Why is that?

I`m using AquaMail Version 1.5.9.14 on my Jiayu S3S.
Android Version KK 4.4.4

My e-mail account is hosted by goneo.de

The folder SENT will be correctly synchronized with the IMAP Server.

Unfortunately, the error is still present. 
In the preview of the sent e-mail is the response text from me.
But when I open this e-mail, then there is only the original text from the sender.

So, just to clarify (as it was not in the original posting): you do see the message you sent in your "Sent" folder. But it is only the text that is missing. Right?
And you are saying that you can see that text in a different e-mail client (or web-mail interface). Right?

Do you write your response above or below the original message?
And that "sent" message, was it sent using Aquamail or a different mail client or web-mail interface?

As mentioned by StR, there is an option in the app settings to choose where your reply text will be shown (when replying "inline" by using the edit pencil): below or above the original message text:

App settings > Composing and sending > disable the option "Reply at the bottom"... to "leave" the reply text at the top.

Thank you for the link. But i have no “password management” apps like 1Password, LastPass, etc. and other app that integrate into Android’s accessibility installed.

When I click on the sent message and open this, then I can only see the originaltext. But when I go to Forward or Reply Icon, and click  the pen "Quote original message"in the field, I see my e-mail response.

I have demonstrated it time based on the screenshots.

The e-mail was written by aquamail app.

Really strange...

I recommend to catch this issue in a debug log as described here:

I'm sure Kostya will have an idea what's going on.

Since Kostya stated (below) that a debug log wouldn't help here.

A debug log would not help here (it simply doesn't capture a lot of what goes on in the UI).

Please try the latest 1.6.0 - dev version (from the "development builds" section) to see if it fixes it for you. It may not affect already existing messages, so please try some new ones.

If it still continues -- will you be seeing it with all messages or just some? Any pattern (formatting, images, rich vs. plain text)?
