I'm not sure what the advantage of this option (cc to yourself) could be. The recipients already know that you are aware of this message, since you have sent it yourself.

Adding yourself to CC is a very classic mail management system. Getting yourself marked cc has more utility as compared to marking yourself Bcc.

Only half of this option exists -- to show the CC/BCC fields by default.

You can enable it by long pressing the account -> options and folders -> composing and sending -> "show cc/bcc".
