archive vs hidden?

Ok I've archive alot of mail because I was cleaning my inbox. When finished with the cleaning,  I clicked "Restore Hidden" only the ones with stars returned. How do I un archive.

Ok on future testing even the stared ones do not return.
Where do I find archived mail?
How do I hide mail? I see restore hidden but no hide

-- Archiving removes the label "Inbox"

Gmail specific: archiving into All Mail removes all labels, not just Inbox.

I just needed to find the archives lol.
So I have to go to the Gmail site to view them?

You will find the archived messages also in AquaMail:

> Main window (Account list view) >long press on Account name (your Gmail account) >Options and folders > Folders > search for the folder "All messages" and tap on folders name > option "Sync as archive" > the folder "All messages" appears in your Gmail account's "folder list"
