IMAP incoming server authentication error

Hi, I have a private mail account with the incoming server imap.vhsmail.vodafone.com and port 143 and no ssl. I can not create the account because I get the message of authentication error. I mention that in outlook this settings are working fine. Thanks.

Hi,

You might want to try changing the login name on the incoming server setup screen - the default is the full email "user@server.domain.blah.blah.com", but some servers will only accept the bare username.
