Getting notifications, even when they're turned off.
« on: August 26, 2015, 08:57:43 pm »
Hi,
I've tried turning off new mail notifications in the standard settings, and using 'special settings' on the account I'm trying to silence, but I still receive them.
It's a pushed Gmail account.
Any ideas?
Galaxy S5, CM12.1

Cheers
Ian.

Please check again all options carefully in "App settings" > "Message notifications"

... and turn off "message notifications" in Account settings (long press on your Gmail account name) > Special settings
Since the Special settings will overwrite General settings.

Ifind it curious why you would want to disable notifications...  In aquamail, they actually work consistently, unlike many other email apps.  I love the action buttons right on the notification itself!
