How do I turn off display of the push notification bar in Android 5x

Currently I have not found a method to disable just the display of that bar that states which accounts have push enabled, sadly this means I have the push feature disabled until I figure out how to remove the bar that takes up valuable notification space in Lollipop's pull down menu.

I cannot find the UI switch to toggle display of that notification, as it remains there constantly.

The language led me to believe that setting was for the blue bar at the bottom of the main UI, not for the notifications panel in Lollipop.

I have push enabled again thanks to your help.
