Simple question: how do I close AquaMail?

I have no 'Exit' command in AquaMail to close application. I am using IMAP push. I tried to stop AquaMail in application manager in android but after short while it has started again. Is there any way to stop AquaMail application and its other processes in case i dont want to run AquaMail for a while?

I'm somewhat interested in the same topic.  The reasons might be a bit different.

I'm finding that even though I have imap push/idle disabled aquamail is leaving the connection to the server open.

Unfortunately I've got a process limit and with 6 users on my domain I quickly reach it with the number of email addresses we all use on multiple devices.

I'd like to use imap so that the mail stays on the server but I need to aquamail to close the connection if push/idle is disabled.
