Application size
« on: August 11, 2015, 12:54:52 pm »
I just came across yet another mail client from WPS (EARLIER KINGSOFT)  they do not offer any thing more than aqua,  perhaps few features less.  But the application size is whopping 15 MB,  as compared to Aqua's 5 MB.

Was wondering,  what do they write in code?  Perhaps some poetry???

Translations take quite a lot + images and other resources.
Do you want to use the latest AquaMail version?
Try AquaMail Updater!

AquaMail has translations too... I'm too lazy to count, here they are (ignore the "he" - Hebrew - no text there):

*** ar         good
*** cs         missing:      4
*** de         missing:      4
*** es         missing:      4
*** fr         good
*** he         missing:   1496
*** hu         missing:      4
*** it         missing:      4
*** ja         missing:    117
*** pl         missing:      4
*** pt         missing:    241
*** pt-rBR     missing:     65
*** ru         good
*** sk         missing:      4
*** tr         missing:      4
*** uk         missing:    169
*** zh-rCN     missing:     42

Each is about 1500 text items (less what's missing).

The answer is -- these days Android apps use a lot of libraries as building blocks. I mostly don't.
