Losing contacts
« on: July 24, 2015, 12:27:56 am »
I don't know if this has anything to do with Aquamail but I've recently noticed that some of the contacts I keep on the my nexus 5 have been disappearing from my contacts. Since I only access my contacts via Aquamail or textra, could this have any possible connection with an AM setting?

I didn't think so but thought to ask.
Fortunately I have good backups and did a nandroid restore so all is well but it is weird.

How do I *make* Android lose contacts?

I've got what must be thousands of Google+ profiles of everyone I've ever replied to (support emails). Lovingly collected by Gmail / web over the years.

Don't use Gmail or sync anything with it. That's what I do. My Google account has no addresses, empty calendars, and empty tasks.
