Folder Tree for synced messages
« on: May 07, 2015, 06:42:58 pm »
Hi,

I have been using AquaMail on my Android tablet for some time and really like it. However, since the Android upgrade to Lollipop it has been running painfully slowly.. I've just deleted and reinstalled it, in the hope that this will speed things up, and now have a later version than before. I have a lot of nested folders and need to sync many of them as I often work offline. In the old version I'm pretty sure I had a folder tree which only showed top level folders in the folder pane, even though lower level folders were syncing. I could then tap a top level folder in order to see the next level down. I can't now work out a way of doing this. It seems that all synced folders now show in a long line in the the folder panel . Please can you help.

Barbara

Confirming... Aqua has never had a hierarchical folder view in its main window (account list).

As for "painfully slow" -- Android 5.0 and then 5.1 made my first-gen Nexus 7 pretty much unusable. The second-gen one is much better, but the old model... was just fine with 4.4, unbearably slow with 5.1.

Thanks Kostya and Paris Geek,

I must have been imagining it then! Maybe I just need to re-customise some font sizes etc. Just got 5.1.1 for my Nexus and it seems slightly less sluggish, but not a great improvement ;-). Barbara
