Really slow when checking accounts

Hi,

I've been using AquaMail for a couple months now. The only complaint I have  is that it is too slow checking, updating and downloading new mail. I've used Maildroid, Inomail, K9, and some others. They all look pretty faster than AquaMail.

Is it just me?

Yep. I have also used and tried the aforementioned clients and don't find Aqua Mail any slower than them. It is essential that you tell us more about your settings. For example, Aqua has one setting that allows the pre-loading of attachments, which, depending on the kind of mails you receive can make a difference in speed.

Press and hold your account name (xyz@domain.com) in the account list. There you see the "Options and folders" settings.

O. Thanks, although they were set to "none". These are my final settings (6 accounts):

- Messages per page (lower -> faster): 25
- Load when checking mail (lower -> faster): up to 5 kb
- Imap Preload Attachments (lower or none -> faster): none
- Imap Embedded Images (lower or none -> faster): none

Speed seems a bit better, but I need to give it some time. Thank you
