A search for 'F1' seems to return every email in inbox?
« on: February 26, 2015, 07:44:37 pm »
My search facility works great for other search terms, but when I search for F1 I see every email in the search results, which don't have any mention of "F1" in them. Is this an Aquamail bug or is it a fault of the IMAP server?

If it's a server search, there might be something in message headers that the server treats as a match.

Quote
      TEXT <string>
Messages that contain the specified string in the header or
         body of the message.

Maybe even something like a part of your own domain or SMTP "Received by..." headers...

A debug log would help me understand better.
