Compact Email View

Hi guys,

Just wondering how / if I can set the toolbar / email header / status bars to take up less space on the email view screen?  As it currently stands, the bars take up almost 50% of my 720 screen, so a 'compact' mode would be great, but I can't find one in the settings.

Any suggestions on how I could achieve this?

No,  no idea.  Since in my opinion there is no waste of space in message view.

Sounds like you're in "full message header" mode. Just tap the message header (any empty space) to toggle between "short" (as in @mikeone's screenshot) and "full" mode.

Another tip -- Menu -> View -> Enable full screen. The menu (with reply / forward commands, and all the others) will still be available with the hardware Menu button or "three dots" icon lower right. The "full screen mode" is sticky from one message to the next.
