Sync of INBOX not working correctly

Hi, I started using AquaMail about 2 weeks ago and I really like this program.

Today I just realized there are more mails shown in AquaMail INBOX than in my webmailer's INBOX. Mails I moved to other folders with my webmailer are still shown in AquaMail INBOX.

Manual sync does not help.
Restarting the phone does not help.


Android 2.3.5, AquaMail in IMAP mode.

Hi,

sorry for my above post... just found out the reason for the explained behavior: the option "remove deleted messages" (remove local messages when deleted from server) was not checked... this was my fault ! Sorry... everything is working fine !

This is a per-account setting, long press an account, choose Options and Folders.

The released version only supports this for IMAP, with support for POP3 in development builds on this forum (will be released soon).
