App not keeping old messages
« on: January 09, 2015, 05:05:29 am »
Is this a problem in my settings?

Aquamail used to keep all my old emails.  But now I only see messages about a week old, although at the bottom of my inbox I see "All Messages Loaded."  I want to keep ALL my messages forever, unless I delete them.  Is this a problem in my settings?  Please advise.  Thanks.

(Using Galaxy Note 4; Android 4.4.2)

@aquamatt:
This issue should be solved through the settings.
Please check:
> long press on 'account name'  > Account options > Messages to sync  > increase the number of days under 'by time period' or choose 'by message count'

Repeat these steps for each account.

@mikeone
The user is seeing "All messages loaded". I suspect another reason behind what is happening. However, let's see if the issue is solved by setting change as you kindly suggested

Thanks for your note. This really looks like another app has access to the webmail account...I guess by pop3 protocol with a setting "download messages / delete on server'.
