Auto-capitalisation
« on: January 05, 2015, 04:58:02 pm »
Sorry if this is somewhere in the forum but I couldn't find it.

I have only been using Aquamail for a few weeks, but I love it - especially the facility to auto copy outgoing emails (No Android emailers seem to offer an 'export' feature)

My problem is that auto-capitalisation has turned off (again) and I can't remember how I fixed it last time. I have spent ages going through the Settings but with no success. Can someone please remind me?

I just want every new sentence to begin with a capital letter

Many thanks

Freddie

Yes. System settings -> language and input -> each installed "soft keyboard" (Google's, device manufacturers, or third party) should have a "settings" button next to it. You should be able to find the relevant setting(s) there.

Thank you so much Kostya
I had looked there but had not explored deep enough.
It is so frustrating that bits get set and reset when one goes nowhere near them!
