Unread message countet

I am currently using the free version of Nova launcher and the paid version of aqua-mail.com. Is there a way I can use the app icon on my home screen with an unread counter instead of the little colored envelope widget?  I am using an icon package that are all circles and that is the only one on my home page that is a square. Thanks

I got the paid version if nova and my unread count is off. Sometimes it says 20 when there aren't any where near 20 unread emails. Is there a fix for this?

Do you know how I can have images automatically download?

Actually app settings -> network -> load when checking mail is for message *text*.

To preload attachments and/or embedded images, long press the account -> options and folders -> preload.
