Create multiple incoming server profiles

I use my tablet at work and in my home office where the incoming server settings differ. I already use multiple identities for SENDING messages from different locations, but don't see a setting for different login profiles as in Outlook where you can log into the same account with different INCOMING Server settings for each profile?

In the general sense, this is like syncing with multiple, possibly unrelated, mail servers -- which is, in the general sense, is meaningless.

Which settings are different? Different mail server addresses? Logins?

Sounds so ugly. And I've never heard about, or used, anything like this before.

If it's the same mail server / account / same messages on the server -- how come the server isn't available for connecting from everywhere, or maybe from the office network and via a VPN when you're at home?

Just curious about the rationale and actual configuration.

Sorry I should have explained. Our company hosts the mail server so when at the office and connected to the network we have to use different incoming Server settings to when we are out of office and connecting remotely. This is for the same email account.

Yes, I got that -- was just wondering why your IT department is making life so difficult for the users.

The only thing I can recommend is:

- Add both accounts into Aqua

- Switch the account level "scheduled sync" setting using Tasker, I guess based on connectivity to the office's WiFi network, so only one is "active" at a time
