Post screenshots please. Don't understand your issue

Paris Geek,
He only wants NOT sending a read receipt even if the sender has requested a read receipt. Is there an option to set this within Aquamail.

AquaMail does *not* send any read receipt. This is clearly indicated in the FAQ. Tested with Gmail accounts
Okay. However where can he prevent sending the unwanted read receipt?
Is there a option in the settings of h is gmail account or anywhere else?

Who is sending this receipt confirmation if you open a message to read them?
It could be only the webmailer (gmail account) or the device app (aquamail)...who else...?

The receipt confirmation is always generated by the mail client of the receiver of the message in question. The mail client (a webmail app, thunderbird, Outlook) will deliver the receipt (open/read message)  to the mail server and that server will deliver the notification to the mail account of the user who requested it.

A DSN (Delivery Status Notification) is something else and is generated by the first SMTP server that receives a message to notify that the message has been received correctly. This is something different.

EDIT :

ah I see that the notification was a forum notification and not a mail notification.

Also, when creating a new mail read receipt request box takes up too much space. I think I need to be smaller. Thanks

If you want to stop requesting receipt confirmation, long click on account name, in account list. Then follow those screenshots

Paris Geek:
This is the setting if you send an e-mail.
But Ayhan wants to stop to send a read confirmation even if this was requested by the sender.

AquaMail can ask that the recipient confirms that the mail was received (this is called requesting receipt confirmation from the recipient side). This is optional, and can be disabled by the user. I have posted enough screenshots to let the user see how to do it.

I will answer no more questions related to that... having nothing else to add.

Paris Geek,
Yes and thank you for trying to clarify this matter. But Ayhan has no issue with Aquamails option to request a read receipe (or not) from the recipient.

Are you really sure that Aquamail is sending read receipt confirmation as requested by the sender?
Since Aquamail does NOT support this feature on the receiving side - means that Aquamail ist NOT sending any receipt confirmations to the sender [as mentioned in the FAQ] -:
> look at: http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=227  -> Requesting a 'read receipt'

For that I am sure Aquamail IS already quiet.
Sorry, but if you have an issue it should be outside of aquamail.

I don't know what you mean with "Inbox me request receipt...".

Is it
A) an issue if you send an e-mail (afterwards YOU get a read confirmation from the recipient)
or
B) an issue if you receive an e-mail (than the sender will get a read confirmation if you open his message)?

What is your problem:
-> A) or B)?
