Inline pictures?

I am so sorry if I haven't understood this correctly and I am asking from experience from this funtion in other email clients:
When you insert a picture in the email (inline) it gives you the different options of the size, Original size, 1/2 size, 1/4 size etc etc...but WHAT exactly means Original Size??? It is NOT inserting the picture in original size, because when I insert a picture with the size for example of 1000x1363 pxl, it is sent in a small resolution and also when the person who recive the mail saves the picture it is a small resolution ? So the I ask again: WHAT MEANS ORIGINAL SIZE?

Original size here means a little less than your device screen size.
Due to Android constraints, inline picture cannot be larger than device screen, as Kostya explained in other posts.

So maybe it is clearer for the user to change descripion from "original size" to "adjusted size"?

Absolutly...should not say "original size"...absolutly misleading...

And to the comment about Android system NOT allowing original sizes...so what have they done with the inline pictures in for example Maildroid and K-@ mail...where it insert the ORIGINAL size??

I said "Android constraints",  meaning that this is possible but quite complex to develop. Kostya has explained that in other posts on that forum (please search for them).

I got it now my friend....but now I guess you understood my NOT FINDING ANYTHING searching for inline pictures when creating the topic....I couldn't exactly guess what topic title such question would have

I've seen how Mail Droid does it.

Yes, it keeps the images at original size, but -- renders them, while composing, as small thumbnails. I assume he ran into the same issue with Android system code as I did.

This makes the feature in Mail Droid -- to my mind -- very difficult to use if you need to insert a corporate logo, that sort of thing -- since you'll have no idea what it's going to actually look like.

So -- in Aqua, inline images are not for large pictures, photos, screenshots. They are for small images that *have* to be in the text itself.

For everything else, attachments. Nothing wrong with them. They do not get downsized, so you can send 20Mpix photos, screenshots, etc.

I'd have to change all the "xx%" items too -- "50% of the automatically reduced size" ? Seems too long.

Maybe change "Original size" to "Auto"?

To avoid a new concept right there -- resized? resized how? by how much? why?

As opposed to "oh, auto, the app did something it needed to do"?

Still -- no matter what I rename the menu item, there will still be people trying to send 20 Mpix photos of their cats as inline images.
