Please revert selection mark back to bright green

After today's update I notice the tick/selection marks in the email list is dark blue, which is hardly visible on my dark background.
It used to be bright green before today.

Please bring back the green, or make it configurable.
I am a paid user of Pro.

Are you using "no contact images" in your message lists?

Configurable -- not likely. Those are images (bitmaps).

I just had to revert selected message color, from pale green to pale blue. Please try the latest dev. build, I hope the contrast should be better again.

Indeed use "no contact images" and wish to keep it that way.
I am fine with message color, just saying that current blue on the dark background gives to little contrast.

So I installed dev build 1.5.0.13.
Personally I still miss the bright green selection marks that really stand out.
I do a lot of mass deletes from my inbox and need the best view of what I have selected for the delete.
Between you and me, your app was the only one that did this excellent, and this was a big plus for your app and made me buy pro eventually.
I will continue to use your app, because it is one of the best apps. Just hoping you revert to something with better contrast.

EDIT: if it is not going back to bright green, then why not make it white? This is in line with the mark color of your animated image, and has much better contrast then the blue.

I reverted back to green in 1.5.0.14.

Why not use white?

Because those small checkmarks are also used in built-in contact picker (on white or black background).

Why not use standard Android checkboxes there?

Because the contact picker's styling is "modern" (Holo) and system checkboxes would look like shit on Androdi 2.*.

Why not copy checkboxes images from 3.*?

Because Android L is shipping soon, and the design there is different.

Hi,

I also didn't care for the change from green checkmarks to blue. I downloaded and installed 1.5.0.16 only to find all mail prechecked green and selecting the mail turned the check to an almost invisible blue. I was wondering if there could be an option to have all mail start as unchecked (i.e. the checkmark is outlined in white with the interior clear, no color) and selecting mail would turn the checkmark green (or a configurable color)? 1.5.0.16 is confusing to me because it looks like I have all the mail checked.

@jeffrey13, the way you describe your preference, is exactly how my 1.5.0.16 behaves. Whenever I open a message list, all mails are unchecked.
Checking one or more mails gives green check marks. I am happy.
Would like to know why yours are all checked when opened.

I'm curious about this behavior as well. The mail messages aren't really selected, but the green checkmarks make them appear like they are. When selected, the check turns blue. I've tried some settings changes under the 'Message List' category, but the green checks remain. Not sure why the behavior for my install is working differently from yours. I am on a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 with Jelly Bean 4.3.1 (CyanogenMod). I am also using Nova Launcher.
