Question about aquamail en floatify

Hello all,
I have aquamail for some time now and it is the best program there is 
I have also buy the notification program floatify and when I receive a email notification it shows the action buttons delete and Mark as read but when I receive more then 1 email notification it shows as one notification and the action buttons are not there. I contacted the author of floatify and he said the the mail client should support to notifications all separate and then it should show all notifications separate with action buttons.
Can this option be added so that it shows all notifications separate and not as bundled notifications.

Hoping for a solution.

Action buttons in notifications are a feature since Android 4.1.

Aqua supports them both when there is a single unread message, or when there are several.

A screenshot with proof for multiple messages (two) is below.

So when I receive 3 emails from different accounts it should show all separate with action buttons?
Also this should also works with pop server accounts and combined with Gmail email accounts?
Is there a special setting in aquamail to show messages separate or will it works out of the box.

Aqua can post one status bar notification per account (the default) or a single status bar notification that points to the Smart Folder (not default, Paris Geek's screenshots show the relevant setting).

However:

Multiple unread (or new) messages, in any case (per account or per smart folder), use in a single notification.

This is how Android notifications are supposed to work, and this is how they work in AquaMail.

Having a status bar notification *per message* would be crazy.

Now, if someone wants to make an app that intercepts another app's notifications and does something with them -- they're free to do so.

How they do it is up to them -- or they can contact me for details about how it works with all the other third party notification enhancement apps listed on Aqua's web site.

Thanks for helping,  the first setting I already had that enabled and the second one I had all unread messages enabled instead off new messages only.

I'm testing Floatifly and works well with Aquamail, I must activate commands on popup... Good notification app.

Please see the web site's main page for the list of third party notifications apps that are supported by Aqua. The authors of those worked with me and I worked with them to make it possible.

Now, to reiterate, anyone can write an app that does .. whatever really. But if you find shortcomings with someone else's app, then you should ask its developer, not me, to fix them.

AquaMail's notifications are intended to go to the device's status bar. And that they do.

And to reiterate one more thing:

I have an API (functions) in Aqua that work better than then approach with "spying" on status bar notifications. The API is already used by those apps listed on the web site, and I'm always happy to share the info.

But whether a particular developer wants to use this for his / her app, or prefers to track status bar notifications, is his / her decision, not mine.

Aquamail is working great but I do not know if the problem is aquamail or floatify, I'm also on the beta tester with floatify and try to figure out what the problem is.
Maybe my Sony xperia z1 is causing the problem with latest kitkat ?

Do not feel attacked buddy, I love aquamail and I have a problem that I try to figure out.
I buy aquamail cause I tested most email clients but this is the best email client and would be great when the part with floatify works in combination with aquamail (that's all, did not ask something strange?)

Do you get the email notifications all separate with the action buttons on all separate notifications?
If so what phone and firmware version u are using.?

Will contact developer from notify and tell him about the api.

My default phone is Note 3 Neo, stock firmware 4.3. Note 3 is equipped less than Neo, without Floatifly, for example.

@ysco -- I don't feel attacked, but really want to clarify things.

AquaMail does not have any special support for Floatify. Floatify (from my understanding) does not have any special support for AquaMail.

Aqua's status bar notifications are intended for one and one thing only -- for the status bar.

If somebody wants to use them for something else, and this "something else" differs in its logic from standard status bar notifications (e.g. how multiple events are combined, which is the issue here), then --

-- the burden is on this other person to make it work, according to his / her plans for his / her app's design.

There is no "problem" in Aqua -- since 1) I never claimed integration with this particular app, Floatify and 2) status bar notifications work just fine.
