I have not been able to receive email since July 28

Hello all - new here!

I had to write because I love the app and suddenly have not been able to receive mail on my IMAP service.

The app goes through the process, not coming up with any errors. I just don't get any mail.

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.

I have the pro version.

I set up my Gmail account, and all emails seem to be going to that in the app.

Any ideas?

Ok, thank you.

So what I have done is set up the Gmail account in Aquamail then attached my normal IMAP account in Gmail (web version) so it can now be read in Gmail on the web.

Now, my IMAP mail comes up in the Gmail account in Aquamail.

Is this what you meant?

So, looking back at my original problem, why can I now suddenly not receive messages on my IMAP account? Is your suggested fix normal, or is it simply a workaround?

@Digicrew -- this is impossible to answer without having at least some specific information from you.

Please long press the account in Aqua -> choose last item (Diag: message dates) -> choose Inbox on the next screen.

Run the test, let it complete, email me the log file (when prompted).

Then we'll see what your IMAP server is reporting in your account.
