Google+ community for Google Play Beta releases
« on: July 10, 2014, 03:16:24 am »
I just created a Google+ Community for  #AquaMail  Beta releases.

Please join if you'd like to see me post Beta releases of AquaMail on Google Play, not just on my site's forum.

https://plus.google.com/communities/112921486711044378404

I've got a few new things lined up with nowhere (just yet) to go.

Too little for updating Google Play (and would like to give it a bit of testing first), too much to just let it sit until the 1.5 is ready.

- SSL certificate tracking and change notification, to prevent MITM attacks

- Tasker event plugin, with event triggers by account / subject / from / to / cc, actual matching values returned as variables

- A couple of optimizations for IMAP to improve performance and lower battery use

I will keep posting new builds here, and at some point will include the new stuff mentioned above, but maybe Google Play Betas is also a good way to reach those interested? Hope so.

Ideally, I'd like to see Beta releases become a permanent part of my release process (and to reiterate, the forum will not go away).

Of course it is.
Let different Android sites know, and they will publish an article on it.
(They did it with Nova's beta which uses the same method.)
