I use Aquamail to monitor my home security cameras, and it's been working great. Whenever I get a movement shown by a security camera, I get an almost immediate email with notification and a thumbnail image as soon as I open the email. As I get multiple emails for a security event, I can quickly go through the images by using the forward or back buttons.
But now, apparently with the latest revision, each email now opens in "message" mode, rather than "attachment" mode. There is no attached image preview like before. So now I have to open each email and press on "attachment" to see the image. If I have 20 emails for an event, each with its own image (showing movement), I can no longer just hit the forward or back button to see subsequent or previous images. Previously, I could go through a security event in a few seconds using the forward and/or back buttons. But now I have to press "attachment" every time to see a preview image.
I have gone into Settings and in Message View, I click on "Image Previews". But it does nothing to show the attached images without manually pressing "attachment" with every email. This is VERY inconvenient.
I've tried going through Settings and tried all sort of changes, but nothing I do can get Aquamail to default to the attached image when I open a email.
What am I missing?
