How do I adjust so that the badge only showing the unread messages from one of the email accounts only. At the moment because i have many unread messages it shows '999'.

The unread count on the badge is the total for all accounts.

If you choose the "notify about new messages" option in app settings -> message notifications, the badge count will show only the number of "truly new" unread messages.

BTW - I just added a setting to turn the launcher icon counter off.

So many users asked for the counters, it didn't occur to me until now that not everyone would like them.
