I don't want to compare this best email app with any one but today I tried k@mail..
It provide many features in rich text mail.
Swipe function and many more..

But Aqua mail is very customized and fast.

 I like aqua mail I wish I will get all the features soon..

K@mail beats AquaMail in following features:
- pop3 (mails are never deleted on server). AquaMail deletes mails when you remove them from trash folder, very dangerous (my wife has lost many emails because of that)
- pop3 is correctly implemented
- rich text composition is more developed than in AquaMail
- more fields are customizable // AquaMail offers more customization since 1.3.20
- you can update quoted messages in a better way (only plain text with AquaMail)
- you can use/show user contact addresses (as input in own address book) in message list. AquaMail shows user names as sent by sender only  // ongoing development in AquaMail
- limited swipe function (not so important to me)
- ability to insert pictures in signature and message composition // ongoing development in AquaMail
- when you reply to an outlook message, correct font is used (AquaMail does not manage that and uses serif font instead, very different from usual default font) // fixed on 18 May 2014



But :
- AquaMail allows to send emails to groups (even though there are minor bugs with my device Note 2). This is a show killer
- is evolving faster than k@mail
- more customizable (colors, sizes, ...)
- «smart folder» does not exist in k@mail (only combined inbox, far away from possibilities of AquaMail smart folder, really best in class)
- contact avatars are smarter and rounder
- developer is present and eager to help

 I have had an interaction with k@mail. Developer,  they are fast evolving.  I used paid version for some time,  as they have all rich text formatting option i need for my business mails.  But I found two bugs in their mail,  they accepted but non committal for resolving them,  so I requested for refund  and paid back immediately.  I think they will catch up fast.  The best part of aquamail is its speed,  light weight,  low battery consumption,  low data consumption,
