While cycling through already-loaded messages, body pane stays blank

Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 4.4.2-I have used Aquamail for two years on a Galaxy S2/Android 4.1. With this new phone/Android version I am experiencing slow "loading" of messages already viewed. Loading is in quotes because it's not the typical loading behavior (elements appearing in a sequence and the progress bar traveling from left to right). What I am seeing is the progress bar already showing fully loaded and the content appears all at once.

This phenomenon is frequent, but not constant. "Normally" I will experience about a half second delay before a message loads when moving from a previous message.  At some random point,  the message body of the next message will be blank. Then, whether I move forward or back, the body pane is blank. After 20 to 120 seconds, messages are visible once again.

Do you use LastPass?

Their recent update tries to "get into" all apps that display HTML (as opposed to just browsers), and this broke a bunch of apps. There are several users experiencing the issue with Aqua.

Turning off LastPass's background service should fix things -- if this indeed is the reason on your device.

LastPass was indeed the issue. I couldn't seem to simply turn off the LastPass App Fill-In service, so I just uninstalled, restarted, and re-installed LastPass, taking care to decline that feature (which hadn't worked yet for me anyway). Aquamail now works as expected; i.e., the message pane displays the message body.

Glad to hear it. Yeah, they broke many, many apps that display HTML. Hopefully there is an update / fix.
