Account Specific Settings
« on: March 23, 2014, 10:23:44 pm »
I am not sure what I am doing wrong or different but I don't seem to be able to look into the settings of one of my two accounts. I have TWO accounts set up and they are illustrated on my Galaxy S4 Home Screen with TWO different widgets (a blue envelope and a red envelope).  I noticed that I no longer am hearing the notification sound I had assigned to the blue account, so I opened the widget, which clearly indicates the INBOX e-mail address to that account (which is DIFFERENT than the red account) and I use the MENU prompt on the phone that brings up the SETTINGS, MARK ALL READ, SORT...etc choices - I selected the SETTINGS, which I thought was where I could go to check the account settings, password, etc as well as the notification settings etc.  Well, FIRST - I can find no way to check the e-mail set up for that account (how can I confirm that account vs the other account??). SECOND - when I go to the MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS, the SOUND indicated is for the RED account, NOT the BLUE account.  I simply can't tell how they are separated anymore?  I know it has been a while since I set these 2 accounts up, but obviously I was able to set them up as 2 separate entities, why can't I see how to check on those separate settings anymore..what am I forgetting to do - I have spent an hour trying to find it and I am giving up.... >:(HELP!

For per-account settings -- please long press the respective account in the account list.

You'll see a popup menu with various settings for this account -- including "account setup" (for connection / authentication), "options and folders" (where most of the useful stuff is), and "special settings".

To override app-global notification settings, you'll want this last one. The "special" in the name means "account specific settings that override app global ones" (and you can choose which ones you'd like to override).
