Sync as incoming
« on: March 11, 2014, 07:17:32 pm »
Just want to make sure I'm suppose to select "Sync as Incoming" on all IMAP folders that I want to sync with the folders on the server.
It's rather confusing. I don't want any emails going straight to any folder. All emails will be managed manually.
Thanks

Never mind I understand now. Apologies. I guess Syncing as incoming may slow down things if you have a lot of folders and emails. ????

In general, the more folders you have the app keeping up to date, every time it checks mail, the more time it'll take, affecting the battery.

The costs are incremental, so as long as the app already wakes up, connects, and starts to sync -- a few more folders do not have a huge impact, but they have some.
