Special Settings for accounts not working?

Hi!

First of all AquaMail is really cool piece of software, I can nearly find everything I am looking for! Sure I'll buy the pro key...

But now I do have one question maybe I am missing something…

For two mail accounts I have setup under Special Settings led color and sound diffenrtly for each account, but the settings seems to be ignored.
LED color and sound still be taken as they are setup under Settings for the application.

Am I missing something?

Ah.

In this case, my app sends separate LED colors to Android, but it seems that Android can't handle two different notification LED colors at the same time.

You might want to look at LightFlow, which has integration with my app, and can alternate different LED colors so you can see that more than one is active at a time.

Thanks for the replay!

I've bought the pro version and set up 4 mail accounts...

So how about disabling the LED and sound notification of the general application settings? Why do you sent two colors for the notification at the same time?

Also the sound set up in the special settings for each account is not used! So I think there is a general problem with the special settings.

If LightFlow is integrated in your app how could it help in this case? And why should I buy another app to work around an issue within your app, which by the way is still a great app!

Hope you'll find a way for those problems!

Well, you mentioned having two mail accounts, so I assumed that the issue was mixing two LED colors at the same time (and yes, standard Android can't do this, LightFlow can).

Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

I'll check Special Settings for sounds and the LED tomorrow.

Can you tell me if you're using the smart inbox for notifications, or the default per-account notifications?

Im not sure about using the smart inbox for notifications is there a spezial setup for this box?

The settings look good.

Do these accounts typically have unread messages (and therefore notifications) at the same time?

If they do, are there multiple status bar icons with notifications, one for each account with unread messages?

There are more than one unread messages spread over different accounts from time to time...

If there are more than one unread messages in different accounts there is shown only one aquamail icon in the status bar.
So the notification seems to come from the smartinbox. How to disable this notification to get notification only by the different accounts as they are setup in the special settings of each account?

Ok. Open the app's settings, scroll to Smart Inbox, disable "Use for notifications".

Thanks for the information!

I already found this solution while playing with the settings...

It was not clear to understand that setting "Use for notifications" of the smartinbox will disable all the special settings of the different accounts.

Would it be possible to notify the user that the special settings for the accounts will not be used when "Use for notifications" of the smartinbox ist activated or just disable the special settings menue for the accounts when using the smartinbox?
