Dear guys...i'm go crazy for this problem. I have new smartphone by two days and i'm crazing to configure acquamail with my gmail account becouse give always ERROR CONNECTION/SINCRONIZATION. Before i had the same brand smartphone with AQUAMAIL PRO but with android 4.0 (Icecream) and all mine 7 account (one of which with GMAIL) works fine. Now with Jelly Bean android 4.2.1 only 6 accounts works fine, GMAIL give error always.
I did a search on the web and i realized this is tipical problem with account GMAIL. I'm not sure if i undestand right but with JellyBean the gmail accounts can be read/managed only with original GMAIL APP of Android. Nothin generic client email can sincronize with the server gmail.
I tried with aquamail and 3 GMAIL accounts.... always the same error then a tried with APP android EMAIL installed on the phone for managed accounts non gmail and no works too like aquamail.
Can you confirm this problem (or incompatibility) by GMAIL/AQUAMAIL and other clients? Anyone has phone with android 4.2 (or 4.2.1 like me) and can try if is true?
Anyone know how resolve and manage the IMAP account GMAIL in AQUAMAIL?
