Update time
« on: January 28, 2014, 12:33:33 pm »
I asked about it long time ago just when I started using Aquamail.
But nothing has been done and that's totally annoying.

So - when so you finally fix the terribly long sync times with accounts?
These times make using Aquamail a misery sometimes.

Hello,

I've not heard anything about "terribly long" sync times, long ago or recently.

One possible cause is the excessively large "messages per page" setting (either app-global, under Mail, receiving; or account-specific, under options and folders -> account options). This is how many recent messages the app keeps up to date when checking mail, every time.

The default is 25, a much larger value will take much longer.

And then of course there are debug logs. Please see below (in my signature).

Thanks for reply.
However I don't understand this command.
I want to have all of my emails on the device.
I don't get this "messages per page"

I discovered Aquamail had a problem with Trash.
Once I manually deleted all the trash folder in the browser
all is faster. But now it's very slow in syncing Sent folder
when it's faster with Inbox which is much larger in messages count.

All of the previous apps I used were very fast in checking folders.
Aquamail tends to be very slow even when no new emails appear.
It is problematic in Sent and Trash.
