Not right now. I am going to do more work on EWS (including looking at push, and proper two-way calendar event sync), but there are other tasks ahead of that (based on user requests, too).

I second that motion!  EWS push would be great addition!

Serioulsy great work on the app!  I have been checking this app out for quite some time, and finally was able to download and use it since you added EWS support.  Been using MailDroid (nice, but awful looking) and Emoze (Questionable security, cludgy, but has EWS calendar support).  AquaMail is my go to client now.

No, micatlkw, it is not.
It may be for you, which I can understand. But it is not speaking in absolute terms. Putting such a pressure on Kostya by even shouting at him (MUST) is impolite, unnecessary and counterproductive. Consider Kostya as an artist who does brilliant work, deserves respect and only has (as he plainly stated) one brain and two hands. Thank you for your understanding.

My apology if my tone sounded offensive and impolite. I didn't mean that. I feel so excited that AM has the exchange added.
I actually very much appreciate the great work done by Kostya

Wheyll, I'm sure not offence was meant, but one man's "must have" feature is another man's "meh".

So I have this "famous" list that's about five pages long, filled with "must haves" :)

Oh and btw, I must be the world's slowest software developer. Not sure if this qualifies me as an artist :)

You pay attention to the smaller details, which makes AM different from other apps and your work a piece of art :-)

First of, let me preface my post by saying that nothing I'll write henceforth should be considered as any kind of pressure on Kostya to deliver a feature that only a subset of users (such as myself) need.

Second, I can explain why EWS push should be considered a higher priority over other EWS related tasks.  Current version of application allows for scheduled sync as well as sync on events, which is quite suffucient for most users most of the time.  There is however a case where this behavior is undesirable.  I am, for example, accessing my corporate exchange server for email.  Just like most corporate systems, our is set up with a password policy which expires passwords at regular intervals.  When this happens, AM keeps trying to access the server with now invalid password which, in turn causes the Active Directory account to get locked.  This has happened to me twice since switching to AM. I have used other apps for EWS that supported sync and can tell you that the worst that happens to those is they stop receiving mail until I edit the account settings and update my password.

@peter75 - thanks, noted. But push connections can time out of break too.

I hope your company's IT admins sleep well at night ("better security than that of the Pentagon", I would imagine).

That's a good valid point though, and one I've not been aware of before. I'll be sure to write it down.

I recently bought this application because it is the few who manage to log into the corporate server for my company. I think a big improvement would add push to get exhange accounts EWS. This and sync calendar and contacts would make it the perfect application.

Congratulations to developer for this excellent work.

EWS push is an essential feature.

I installed Aquamail assuming it worked, as the app description lists "EWS support". Please remove this from the description or at least clarify that it is not really supported--interval/event checks? Seriously? It's 2014.

Huge disappointment, as I loved everything else about the app setting it up, but after going through the hassle, no worky...

Keep up the good work and I do appreciate the effort, but I'll be freezing this one until EWS works. And I'm not the only one... Made an account just for this single post.

Cheers!

I'd greatly appreciate Exchange push as well. I don't understand the technicalities (all other mail-apps have accepted m.outlook.com as server, but in Aqua I need to use outlook.office365.com. This took a long time to figure out.  :), but push email would be needed for many business users.
