Hi,

Adding additional accounts is handled as you did the first however  the trial version of the product, while fully functional, has a few limitations.  One of which is you can only add two email accounts.  Is that the issue?  You are using the trial version and have reached the maximum of two?

I should mention that I am not at all compensated in any way by the author .... AquaMail is currently the /only/ app I've paid for.  :)  I'm sure there will be more but for now, it's the only one.

Cheers,
-pablo

Hi,

Ah, I understand now.  Near the top of the screen, please the little arrow ("<") and you'll be presented the main menu where you can add new accounts.

If you wish to change the behavior of the "back" key so instead you get to the main menu rather than exit AquaMail, do the following.
  • From the main menu, select the options icon (three vertical boxes, right side of the menu).
  • Click on Settings
  • Switch to Extended settings
  • Scroll to the USER INTERFACE section
  • About half way down the section, uncheck "Back" to close from message list

Cheers!

Hi,

You're on the right screen.

Now just press the hardware Menu button if your device has one. If not, press the "three dots" icon on the right side of the other icons (Google calls it "the menu overflow affordance").

Finally, choose Add account from the popup list/menu that will appear.

I have aqua mail on my tablet with 3 accounts. But on my new phone I had 2. Upgraded to Pro but only had a settings menu. I finally went into Android settings and found accounts. I chose the add account option which showed various Aqua Mail types. Selected IMAP one added account OK.

To add another account in AquaMail:
> go to the app's main window (account list view) > Tap the Menu button (usually the '3-dots icon' on the upper right corner) > choose the 2nd item "Add an account" (... not the first item" Settings")

It is impossible to add second email account in my smartfone (UMI ROME X, 720x1280, android 5.1) - there are no "3-dots" or "settings" icons - only "refresh", "write a message" and "search" icons.
I do not know what to do. For the first account everything works fine (private) but I need second account (work).. Maybe screen resolution is the problem? I tried with mouse/pointer trick but without success - 3-dots icon is invisible.

If there is no three dots icon, it's because Android (the specific ROM of your phone) tells the app that the phone has a way to bring up the menu, so the three dots icon is not needed.

"A way" such as: a real button outside the screen, or an icon on the screen along the bottom.

According to the user's manual for your phone, it's a real button outside the screen:

http://www.umidigi.com/new/doc/Manual/RomeX_manual.pdf

Quote
1 . Appearance and Keypad Operations

menu  Press it to start the menu, which allows you to perform actions in the current interface or options’ menu.

BTW, in the video reviews of this phone on YouTube, you can see that there is no three dot icon in any of the apps (that appear in the videos). Makes sense, completely expected.

You should use the menu button (one of the "soft touch keys" / hardware buttons at the bottom) as shown in the image below.

You are right, I have to push soft "menu" button - longer than usual. Thank you for your help.
