The developer, or his associate (forum point person) was responding to a feature request where the user was giving examples of "other mail apps", among them, AquaMail...
The response was "all those other mail apps have large teams of engineers, designers, tech support..."
( /me looking around confused, not seeing the "large team" at all, not even a cat )
