Haven't seen many topics on this forum for other products that Kostya sells, so here is one. Can Wifi Manager allow an API call to exit from the app or be set up as a Tasker plugin with an option to stop the app.

I have been using this app for a while and like that it can start and stop wifi on the phone when it starts and stops. It doesn't work to leave the app on when wifi is off. So let's use the option today turn off wifi whenever the app exits.

Doesn't Tasker have its own built-in way to enable and disable Wi-Fi?

Yes it does. My idea was to use your app to toggle the wifi state because of previous experience where other apps would turn wifi back on when I was driving before I foundation your app.
Your app seems to do a better job of keeping wifi in the desired state than only setting the wifi state in Tasker.
I'll give another try now that I'm using your app.

Hmm, but Wi-Fi Manager doesn't do anything special in that department (or at all, I should say). Enabling / disabling Wi-Fi is just one line of code. And you're using Tasker already. The issue sounds more to do with apps that want to turn on Wi-Fi for their own reasons.
