reply "inline"

In previous versions, I could  select to answer emails "inline". This feature seem to have vanished from recent builds...

How can I get it back? I have many people (and mailing lists) that would be upset if I would do top-posting Outlook style...

At the border between the quoted text to which you are replying, there is a check mark 'include original email' or similar on the left. On the right is a pencil icon. Click the pencil, and then you can reply line by line.....

If you realize that you can touch it...

No problem, feature is working fine, me a bit stupid :-(

That's Google's latest UI fad -- control that don't look like controls, with no way to tell if they can be touched (or swiped? which way?).

I'm only following their lead here
