Thank you for the update.  Been anticipating rich text composing for some time and very happy to see it added in the beta.  It's working very well and I thank you for your work.  I know you put a lot of work and effort into the way .eml files are handled.  I can see the convenience many users would find with these files/attachments being view-able in the body of the email.  I however need the ability to open, edit and forward .eml files in my profession and this new in-line format does not allow me to do so.  Would it be possible to add this as a user option.  ".eml viewing" 1] In body of message.  2] As attachment?

I really want to use the latest testing version of the client with rich text editing but can not lose the eml's as attachment handling per the latest play store version.  Thank you for your consideration.  I look forward to your many upcoming and much appreciated developments.

It seems everything works as expected. Except one thing, Kostya, is it possible to change the font of messages? It looks very pretty when composing, as Aqua uses sans-serif font family... unfortunately, the messages are sent without any CSS styles, and when receiving through web or Outlook for example, mails are displayed in serif family - which looks crapy in my opinion :/

I came across an issue which I request to resolve. While trying to print an email by selecting send/share/print message text I am getting other options in pop up menu but am not able to fine my WiFi printer in the list, could you please resolve it.

@dans - Hopefully very soon. Yes it's been a while, I know. I also posted information on this forum about why it's taking so long. Not happy about it either.

Hopefully whatever version you already have installed is not working any worse than it did when released.

@thathipasanna - Do not expect to see your actual printer (e.g. "Samsung CX200" or something).... This is the list of *apps*, not devices. Please install a printing app, which will then talk to the printer.

My favorite is Cloud Print by Paolo Fernandes, it can print HTML messages with images.

@kaczor - I would like to fix this. And since it's from ebay (I worked there ages ago, btw), other users might run into it. The crash log indicates an issue in my code (although it's likely that there is something strange about the message).

Please send the original message source as an attachment to kmansoft / at sign / gmail / dot com. You know how to get it in Gmail / web or other web mail services, or desktop mail apps?

And please try the build below (maybe I'm telepathic after all):

@kaczor - about fonts (typefaces)... I had it working, then ran into some ugly device specific issues, so had to remove it for now.

There is no font specified anywhere in outgoing messages, so the actual assigned typeface depends on the receiving app and its default HTML styles.

Love the new font style when receiving.  Nice job.  It's big though .  Comes in as 12 pt which is big for this style in my opinion.  Think 10 or 11 would be better.

I do not have a font size setting in outgoing mail either.... So whatever you're seeing is Outlook's default font size for HTML.

The font size is not specified in the mail html styles... but in fact it looks quite big (for example in Outlook, comparing to other messages). I don't think it would be a good idea to add a font size to the body style also... you would then probably get request to increase it :|

What I've thought is maybe we could add an advanced option to edit sent HTML mail template, for example we could add a file into some aqua folder (or just an advanced option with area to copy a html text into) with content similar to this one:

You'll only need to change the <!-- BODY --> with the written email content and <!-- SIGNATURE --> with signature set in settings (or, if SIGNATURE comment is not there - do not add any signature). This would allow to fully customise sent emails, even making own HTML signature version, without using internal settings signature editor, etc.

Anyone would then be able also to change the size of the whole message font... just anything

It is made of three joined <html>...</html> sections :\ weird, indeed!

I'll take a look to make sure my code handles it in a sensible way, and not only doesn't crash.

I can see the original message, when responding looks okay, so it is handled somehow

PS. are you aware that when responding, embedded pictures are loaded into original message, attached below the response?
