Taking personal customization further....

Thank you for continuing to consider owner requests to further enhance this great email program.

Just thought of something that would really make this email program even more incredible....

Color customization

Yes, you can select between light and dark backgrounds and text.

But what if you could customize the background and text further with colors?  Perhaps I want a yellow background with black text.  Or, perhaps a blue background with red text.

Is that kind of customization possible?

It's not possible right now, and won't be a priority for a while, sorry.

While I understand it's important to prioritize requests, I'd like to add my name to the list of those wanting to customize the colors.  Perhaps at some point, the initial release is some basic tweaking allowed.

Blue background with red text? In the main window? Or messages?

Hi Kostya,

I would suggest the initial release will only allow changing of the background and text in the main window and message windows for a given UI Theme

For example, if I am using the UI Theme Light, I can change the background color from white to ... say .... black .... and the text color to bright green. 

Personally, I don't consider this a high priority change.  That's just my vote.

It's not as outlandish as you make it be.  I was looking at the layout of the different screens (account settings, account listing, inbox, etc) and they all have headings and footers.  What I was thinking was along the lines of overlays:  You pick an existing theme and for now, you are allowed to customize two very basic attributes.
