Option to change AquaMail default language

Hi,

By default AquaMail UI will use system language. For different reasons, being one of them the bad translation made for my language (good effort but not well done), would be great if we could chose the language for the app.

This isn't nothing new, as you can see in some other apps like Titanium backup (my system is in Portuguese but I always change Titanium language to English because of terminology).

You can fix translation yourself. But agree, set app lang is useful feature, easy to add i think (stackflow stackoverflow.com/questions/2900023/change-language-programatically-in-android)

Not easy to add at all.

Android has localization support, it's all automatic, and all tied to the one and only system language.

So every app that can use a different language had to reinvent the wheel for it... I just haven't yet.

Some apps have it (k-9 have it and work great)... but again it's your app and you should know what you're talking about.

Then why don't you make languages like a plugin thing. The main app would be in English and the user opt for an extra language installation, just like keyboards apps do.

You could even charge for them. ;-)

The best thing to do is switch to an English based locale.
That's what I do.
The only issue is the difference in punctuation but the only apps affected by this that would trouble me are financial ones.

Why is it my system language is brazilian portuguese and Aqua Mail uses ackward Portugal portuguese? How do I set to brazilian portuguese or to English?
