qq mail unread issue

This is a wonderful app. But there is a small issue. I use qq mail,  everytime the notification show  me it have 179 unread in my email. But actually all of them are already marked read from the server and the app. So what happened ?

Can you give us some more information? Are you having this issue with QQ-Mail with a POP3 or an IMAP account?
- In case of IMAP, do you have IMAP Push enabled and also the "Inbox" folder set as IMAP Push or set to sync?
- Are those "old emails" which show up in the Inbox of AquaMail?
- Try to compact the database, that helps sometimes to eliminate certain issues.

Hi,

Can you check web mail to see if there are any old unread messages in your account / folder?

If so, can you please mark them all read (there should be a quick and easy way to do this, although that's only a guess - no QQ mail account for me )

... then wait for / initiate a mail check in AquaMail to see if this resolves the issue?

not only  check all read , I also delete all of the old email in my inbox. it didn't  help. not only initiate ,but also clear all  the data on my phone, it didn't help...

also ,some Link in the email become just text in the email how to fix that?

Clear data has nothing to do with it. It must be a server side unread count it's pulling in.

I'd be happy to look at a debug log, capturing you checking mail in this account, with "raw data" enabled, as described below:

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I've got a similar question/issue.  Love the app, and I'm now down to this last issue.

I've got Missed It! installed with Nova Launcher.  All of my other notifications work (SMS, Touchdown, etc.), but I'm having a problem with Aqua Mail.  It picks up new notifications okay, but it ALWAYS has at least a (1) showing after it checks the mail (regardless of my Missed It! settings (ie, Multiple events behaviour).  Because all of the others are working fine, I'm guessing it's an Aqua Mail issue.

I've enabled notifications and clicked "only when new messages".

Under Smart Folder time period, I've clicked "only unread".  There are no unread messages. (I've also clicked "use (Smart Folder) for notifications).

Any ideas?

As I say, I love the app (really well thought out) ...  just trying to nail down this last pet peeve.

The unread count in Nova (or Apex) is the total of all unread counts in all accounts, which in turn is the total of unread counts for all folders set to sync as incoming (i.e. appearing in the account list if you expand an account).

If this checks out alright, I would need a debug log capturing a mail check start to end, all accounts, with "raw data" enabled.

Doing an all accounts mail check just before enabling logging would pretty much make sure that actual message content would not be recorded.

Not that I can see (and I've expanded all of the folders). Interestingly, it says "1" just as it starts to scan (ie, before completing the scan of the accounts).
