[RESOLVED] Not respect general option for synchronisation

Hello,

I want to disable Aquamail Synchronisation. I have 4 account setup.

I go to Menu - Parameter - Parameter Synchronisation and uncheck "verification planified" so I think that disable all account synchronisation but Aquamail sync always account. I must go in each account to disable sync. And after I I want enabled anew I want go in each accoun to setup planified sync. It is very annoying.

To disable sync and IMAP in general and for all accounts go to "Settings -> Receiving Mail"

Disable:
1. Scheduled checks
and
2. IMAP Push

This gets overwritten when you specified the same option in "Special Settings" in the account itself.

That´s it.

Is exactly what I do but Aquamail still synchronise.

Do have something in "Special settings" for each account configured?

For stop Sync I must go in each account and open sync setup and uncheck "verification planified"

in special setting for account nothing is checked.

It seams i am blind but i can not even find this option you mention. Where is it, in which part of the account setup?

Parameter General for Aquamail



If you uncheck "Vérification courrier planifié" Aquamail must stop to sync, so never sync for all.

Parameter for each of your account 



If you uncheck "Vérification courrier planifié" Aquamail must allways stop sync for this account.
If checked, Aquamail sync this account if general option for sync is checked. If general option is unchecked none account must be synched this and other, even if "Vérification courrier planifié" is checked on this account. General option must have higher priority.

Parameter specific for each of your account  if you want different cheking time.



So if I uncheck option on first picture and checked on second picture, the account for second picture is checked.

If I want unable all account checking I must disabled "verification planified" in all account and enable it if I want anew sync this account.

The general parameter  should stop synchronization of full Aquamail.

Yes you are right when you disable the option in your first image, AquaMAil should stop checking in case you have POP3 accounts. In case you have an IMAP account you must disable also "IMAP Push" in the same window. This works here in my case.

In case this does not help...
Have you tried a clean new install without restoring the backup? Make backup of your configuration first.

Do you, by any chance, have event based sync enabled? E.g. when the device connects to WiFi, etc.?

I will check the master switch's function, too (in global app settings).

Yes, I have event in this option, I setup it at the beginning when I have problem with sync on sleep mode.

I have checked :
- Master sync
- Wifi connect
- Mobile data

There seams to be the problem. Did not thought of those.

Yes, that's it -- those events work independently of  "master" switches for scheduled sync and push sync, so that it's possible to leave schedule sync and push off, and still have the app check mail when getting home or to the office, that sort of thing.
