Contacts list

How do I edit the contacts list; I've picked up a batch from one email which I want to get rid of.

If you see them in the device's Contacts / People app, well, just edit them there.

The exact way varies by Android version and device manufacturer, e.g. long pressing or using a button to enter edit mode, where a contact can be deleted, etc.
