Outgoing server settings
« on: May 20, 2013, 11:32:05 pm »
I keep getting an  error message when trying to set up POP3 Outgoing settings on my Android.  It's not eminently clear what these settings should be.  Can anyone direct me?  Maybe it should be a topic under FAQ.  I changed the Server port to 25 and not encrypted and other choices there but nothing works.

So now it works (not sure why) but I'll leave this post up as a suggestion.

Actually trying to log into my web-based email.  Bluehost is the domain host.
When I left my desk the problem started all over again (I connect via Wifi while there). When I set this up I tried my best to mimic the settings for the email client that came with my phone (Android).   Now things are getting stuck in the outbox.   Receiving seems fine.

I attached a screen shot showing the error message.

Thanks

Fixed it. Had to toggle one of the authentication buttons.
