+ "Save" for images linked in messages (Android 3.0+, long press, Save).

Fixed some cases of selecting folders in the new hierarchical folder selection dialog.

Works smoothly.  You can now move Inbox messages to folders underneath your Inbox.  Thank you Kostya.

I tried to install this on a Nexus 4 and it said "Not installed."  Will this allow me to move an email to a folder?  A "move to folder" icon or spot in a menu would be great.

Nice work so far.  Keep it up!

Hi,

There are icons / menu items to move messages between folders (IMAP servers only, as POP3 does not support folders).

The "not installed" sounds like a device specific issue, could you try installing from Google Play, preferably from their web site, it has better error messages if something goes wrong (compared to the on-device Google Play app).

how do I install a .apk from the desktop play store?  I guess my server's a pop3 server, but I have folders that I use.  Is that only available for desktops?

POP3 does not provide access to server folders (given it's from 1996, that's not very surprising...)

Ok.  So if I have folders in my email system, does that mean it's IMAP?

A mail system can have folders "inside", accessible e.g. via web mail or native apps. This has nothing to do with how that mail system lets third party apps access messages.

If said mail system supports only POP3 for third party apps, there will be no distinct folders in those external apps.

If .... IMAP .... there will be folders.

POP3 and IMAP are not about how a mail system organizes messages internally, they's specific methods letting third party ("external") apps connect.

One example:

Hotmail / Outlook / Live has folders if you use their web mail, or the native app, but for third party apps, it supports POP3 (no folders) and ActiveSync (folders, but requires licensing from MS). IMAP is not supported (promised last August, not delivered yet, AFAIK).

Thanks.  That makes sense.  I guess I'll have to use a different email address. :-\
