Hi, since a few days ago Aquamail suddenly can't access my outlook.com account anymore. I think it was just about after an android update.
I found a thread with a similar problem here: https://www.aqua-mail.com/forum/index.php?topic=2599.0 , but it's an old thread and it couldn't help me.

The error on the main menu says "Error synchronizing mail, Authentication error: NO Login failed: Authentication failure". When I try to manually reset the settings, Aquamail can't sync up the outgoing server, and gives the error: "Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Error connecting failed to connect to smtp-mail.outlook.com/52.97.158.162 (port 587)"

My settings are SMTP-server: smtp-mail.outlook.com, security type: STARTTLS (strict check), server port: 587. Two-factor auth is not set up on my outlook account. I've tried on multiple Wi-fi networks and 4g connection.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

You can now save an email as an EML. The option was added last update I think

Hi

Yes I know but I can't read it on aqua app and office suite as suggested can read EML files but it cannot open and read msg files. It's really absurd.

Hi there,

I switched to a new mail provider. Therefore, I moved all emails via a windows mail imap software from the old provider to the new provider. Then, I removed the old mail account from aqua mail and added the new one. Unfortunately now the oldest 5000 mails are synced, but the new ones not. The root cause might be, that the creation date on the mail server is now wrong, but the date in the mail header should be still correct. I didn't find an option to solve the problem. I can't increase the mail sync limit further, because 5000 is the maximum. A workaround would be to move all old mails to another folder, but I hope there is another solution. Can anyone help me, please?

huh.. Weird. I had Google Play Services completely disabled as I try to only have background services I actually *use* running in the background. I don't use location services whatsoever (Maps, contacts, backups/cloud storage, etc.) I do everything manually.

But yes. In Google Play Store, when it was disabled, I only had the option to "Buy" the Pro Unlocker from the Play Store whereas after I had re-enabled google Play Services, there was an option to "Install" it. That seems to have fixed my issue. And it does appear I'm able to use it on multiple devices, currently running on 4 for anyone wondering for future reference.

Kudos for the quick reply nonetheless.

I'm not certain, but I don't believe the license gives you the right to use AM on multiple devices. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been using Aqua-Mail Pro for a few years now, honestly can't remember when I first bought it. 2016 maybe? I've successfully been able to activate it on 4 different phones now at various times, multiple times -- I work with custom ROMs and factory reset pretty regularly. However I have another new phone I'm trying to enable the Pro version on and I can't seem to get my license activated? I've tried downloading the AquaMail-paypro-1.20.0-1450-stable-57fc29045aaf.apk as well as the other AquaMailUnlockerPayPro-1.0.18.apk which is linked in another thread but when checking the license, I get an "It seems that you are not licensed to use AquaMail Pro" error, even though, again, it's running just fine on another device at this exact moment (will gladly attach screenshots as proof if necessary.) Any help?
