Title: Inserting an image in the signature area
Post by: DAVID RAATH on March 22, 2013, 04:50:22 pm
Hi.  I would like to find out about having an image (company logo and payoff line in jpg format) being put into the signature area.  Do you think this functionality could be incorporated as I am sure I can't be the only person needing this, as most companies use this as a form of branding.

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Maybe at some point, when I implement rich text editing.

Right now, all new message content (body and signature) is plain text only. Sorry.

hello,

Great program, and I agree that this request (jpg and html into the signature area) would make your program even more essential.

thank You

This is a great email app.....but.....

The ability to have a html signature is the most important feature. No other email apps have it, apart from Samsung's mail app.

If you implement this your will have the best, by far, email app available.

I think that AM is an excellent application also.  But I would like to see this feature.  Otherwise, this application suits my needs perfectly.  Everytime an update comes out, all the enhancements are things that I wasn't looking for, but I'm glad to have.

I always build my signature using ascii-art anyways...  ;)

     |\      _,,,---,,_
     /,`.-'`'    -.  ;-;;,_
    |,4-  ) )-,_. ,\ (  `'-'
  '---''(_/--'  `-'\_)

This feature is becomming crucial for me. Maildroid free already has this but I much prefer using my registered copy of Aqua Mail except in instances where certain business correspondence must remain consistent in appearance with my email from my pc. It would really be nice not to have to use both programs.

Nice to see this. A small issue -the inserted image is smaller and high compresses, thus distorted. Hopefully this will improve. Thanks!

I found the image as inserted into my signature seems to be smaller than I would have expected relative to the text also. I suspect it's being mapped pixel-by-pixel to the screen resolution (which in my case is 1080px) which makes the end result a lot smaller within the email than (say) Outlook would have done.
