Title: Any way to go back to Smart folder after backing out of an email?

I've noticed that when clicking on an email notification which directly brings me to an email, for example an Android notification, when I back out of that email it goes to the email account folder instead of the smart folder.  Then I have to click the menu, click accounts, and click Smart folder to get back into the Smart folder.  Receiving a ton of new emails with notifications every day this becomes a bit tiresome. 

Alternatively if I'm already inside Aqua Mail in the smart folder, when I click on an email, then back out of it, it correctly puts me back in the Smart folder. So this seems to be an issue mainly if I arrive at the email inside of Aqua Mail via an external means such as an Android notification.

Is there any way to set it so that when I back up out of such an email it automatically puts me back into the Smart folder?
